Longer Christmas Hours at Gretna Gateway
For the first time in a few years Gretna Gateway Outlet Village will be opening late (until 8.00pm) on Thursdays 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd December to allow people to work and then shop in the build-up to the busiest trading period of the year.
General Manager Peter Gardner said "The last time we tried late opening it wasn’t a fantastic success, but since then we have filled Phase 1 and opened Phase 2, and now have so much more to offer that we are confident it will be much more worthwhile now. With over 50 shops (all of whom will be opening late on the above Thursdays in December), we have many great ideas for Christmas gifts for the whole family, and with all-year-round reductions of 30 to 50% you don’t have to wait for the traditional Sales on the High Street to get Christmas gifts at bargain prices!! Our ample free parking also makes it easier to shop here than in most town or city centres in December, so there are many reasons for visiting Gretna Gateway between now and Christmas, and we anticipate breaking some more records for visitor numbers and sales to round off a very successful and eventful year."
Gretna Gateway’s opening hours over the Christmas period are as follows;
- open till 8.00pm on Thursdays 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd December
- closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day
- open 10.00am to 4.00pm Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve
- open 11.00am to 5.00pm Boxing Day and January 2nd
- open normal hours of 10.00am to 6.00pm 7 days per week at all other times
