MAJOR CELEBRATIONS FOR MINI WINNER
Kilmarnock woman, Josephine McGill was celebrating today when she collected a brand new Mini Cooper car, courtesy of Gretna Gateway Outlet Village.
The car was one of the top prizes offered by the outlet village in a free prize draw on-site to celebrate the opening of its £8 million expansion earlier this month. Fifteen new stores have now opened at Gretna Gateway as part of the new phase, with another four stores shortly to be announced and interest high in the remaining two units.
Josephine, a dog groomer in the town, recently her married husband Billy and has a young son. Speaking about her win, she said; "I really didn't believe it when they rang to tell me I'd won the car - I thought someone was winding me up, but now it's all starting to sink in and I can't wait to show off my new car. I've never won anything before and this feels just great!"
Gretna Gateway Marketing Manager, Julian Dow said; "This was one of two Mini Cooper cars which we decided to give away to our shoppers to mark our new expansion and we're delighted that Josephine is so pleased with her win. She had already shopped at Gretna Gateway a number of times so it is nice that this car went to one of our regular customers. The Mini's were a great incentive to visit our new stores, however all of our shops, both new and established are proving extremely popular in their own right. We're confident that shoppers will continue to visit Gretna Gateway to see the new developments and to experience some great value shopping, particularly in the run-up to Christmas."
